Our Three-part Mission for the homeless

We want to help bring the homeless back into homes and to help reintegrate them back into society.

We know that help is needed and that healing on a spiritual level is key to overcoming homelessness, both for our homeless friends on the street and for society as a whole so that we help take care of the people least able to take care of themselves.

Right now, we are in the first call of a three-part mission to help the homeless, truly, and to heal this oversight in today’s society.

With each person with whom we pray, we ask God to answer our prayers according to His will, and we call on Holy Spirit to guide and comfort people as only He can. We ask that all of this healing happens.

First call: Power of Prayer and a Meal

First we are bringing the power of prayer and simple meals, along with fellowship and caring interaction, to our homeless friends. Our intent is to help each person move forward into the appropriate solution for his or her particular needs. God does meet everyone where they are, and this simple step starts to address the immediate needs of the homeless right where they are—on the street.

Second call: Power of prayer and shelter

Next we want to offer simple shelter for people to remove themselves from the dangers, insecurities, and health hazards of living outside on the street.

Third call: Power of Prayer and Housing

We know that God knows everyone and loves everyone. We know that He does not leave anyone on their own, even when they are sleeping outside. We feel Him in our hearts calling us to bring the homeless back into homes, each person according to his or her particular needs and abilities.

With God’s grace and guidance, we know that we can help fulfill His calling.
